It is expected that groundbreaking will take place in the first quarter of 2014, with up to 3,500 homes built in 4 different communities, of which 3 communities are gated. There will be a mix of condominiums and single family homes, with sizes expected from approximately 1,600 sq. ft. to just over 5,300 sq. ft. for homes in the Trevi community.
Orchard Hills is designed to be pedestrian-friendly ('healthy walkable community'). The internal sidewalk network is geared to facilitate walking and biking activities through an extensive grid of sidewalks and bike lanes paralleling the interior streets.
Pedestrian connections to these areas are available off Fiddlebow, Settlers and Orchard Hills Drive along a network sidewalks and walkways through the adjacent tracts.
